Subsidized Events
We have two subsidized events each year: a Crab Feast/Picnic in the summer and a Holiday Party in December. At both events there is a nominal charge to the members and everyone brings a side dish or dessert. The main dishes - crabs and chicken at the summer event and ham, turkey, and shrimp at the Holiday Party - are supplied by the group. Beverages, paper products, and other items also come out of the club treasury. Both of these events are well attended and a lot of fun!
Some years, when the treasury is "flush" we hold a 3rd subsidized event such as Toby's Dinner Theatre, a boat trip to St. Michaels, or a brunch.
